A place in my dreams, on which I hang my thoughts. "Written poetry is the most vivid expression of our shipwreck, which is the most intimate name of our destiny." (Eugenio Montejo)

Nocturne (Chopin Sara Chang) - In other Meridian (Eugenio Montejo)
In other meridian (Eugenio Montejo)
I do not reach the time of your body,
I was born far, in a country that is air, clouds, night,
although you hear me so close.
I was born at the wrong time of your laugh, of your eyes,
in another meridian.
We love each other from sea to sea,
from one star to another,
no matter if today, you feel me next to you.
Although you wake up undressed here, beside me,
your time goes ahead,
the time of your hands, of your face,
I‘m beside your shadow and can not reach you.
The hours of your love lye far from me,
under a light of snow,
in some city that I don’t know.
Our lives get close, become one,
and exchange groans, kisses, dreams,
but we walk miles away from us,
perhaps in different centuries,
in two wandering planets that search each other
without getting together.
